Your host
I don't show you the city,
I explain how to feel and understand it.

More Than a Guide. A Lifetime of Welcoming People.
If you're looking for someone to recite dates and facts, I'm probably not the right guide for you.
But if you want to understand why Seville feels the way it does—why its streets, traditions, bars, and people have such a unique personality—then I'd love to show you my city.
I was born and raised in Triana, one of Seville's most iconic neighborhoods. Long before I became a guide, I spent my life doing something that, without realizing it, was preparing me for this job: welcoming people.
At 25, I opened my first restaurant, El Paso Tapas, in the heart of Triana. Years later, I opened El Duende Lounge Bar, where travelers, locals, music, and conversation naturally came together. Looking back, I realize I wasn't just running businesses—I was creating places where people felt comfortable, connected, and part of something.
That passion eventually led me to create We Love Spain Excursions in 2006. For nearly two decades, I organized and personally led hundreds of trips across Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. I've crossed the Sahara more times than I can count, wandered through the blue streets of Chefchaouen, shared countless sunsets in Marrakech, and learned that the experiences people remember most are rarely the ones in the guidebooks.
They're the conversations.
The unexpected moments.
The stories they take home.
Those years shaped the way I guide today. Not as someone delivering a rehearsed speech, but as someone sharing a place I genuinely love.
Bringing People Together
Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: I enjoy bringing people together.
I created Super Tuesdays, one of Seville's most popular international student nights, and years later launched Social Fridays, a weekly gathering where locals and travelers meet naturally over conversation, music, and laughter.
I've always believed that travel is about people before places. The best memories usually begin with a conversation.
A Storyteller at Heart
I'm also an author.
Writing allows me to explore Seville in a different way—through imagination, humor, history, and storytelling.
I've published several books, including the Zevilla Zombi Nation trilogy, along with other works ranging from satire to fiction. Today, I'm writing new history books inspired by the same curiosity that drives my tours.
Whether I'm writing a novel or walking through Seville with guests, my goal is always the same: to transform facts into stories people never forget.
Because dates are easy to forget.
Stories stay with us forever.
Why I Created Seville With a Local
After years working in hospitality, travel, events, and writing, I realized something.
Most visitors leave Seville having seen the city.
Very few leave truly understanding it.
Anyone can point at a monument. What fascinates me is explaining why it matters.
Why orange trees fill the streets.
Why Triana has such a strong identity.
Why locals still argue about the best tapas bar.
Why tiny details hidden in plain sight tell the biggest stories.
That's why I created Seville With a Local.
Not to give tours.
To help people experience Seville through the eyes of someone who has lived here all his life.
What You Can Expect
I don't believe great experiences come from following a script.
If something catches your attention, we'll stop.
If you're curious about a hidden alley, we'll explore it.
If we find a bar full of locals and the moment feels right, we'll sit down for a drink.
Because that's how I experience my city.
And for a few hours… I'd like you to experience it the same way.
