"We had managed to coincide our trip to Seville with the final of the football Copa del Rey, so our walk was slightly overwhelmed by thousands of football fans, luckily all very good natured. Our guide Johnny had to work hard to negotiate the crowds and make himself heard above the noise of the crowds! He did a great job, and conveyed the long and important history of Seville, before taking us to the Plaza de Espana, the old Tobacco Factory, the Jewish quarter etc. The three hours passed quickly and we ended in a hostelry where we sampled the local orange wine, and Johnny taught us the traditional toast of the city! We stayed on there for lunch, and said a grateful goodbye to Johnny as he battled his way through the crowds on to his next guided tour."
