General
- What is Seville With a Local?
- A premium private-tour experience led by Johnny Candela, a born-and-raised Sevillian from Triana. Tours blend storytelling, history, food culture, and local insight to help guests feel the city, not just visit it. Learn more in the About section.
- What kind of tours do you offer?
- Private, flexible, narrative-led experiences, including:
- How do I book a tour?
- The fastest way is to book online, so your tour is fully reserved on the spot. You can also reach out via WhatsApp, through the Contact page, or by email at sevillewithalocal@gmail.com.
- What if my group size grows after booking?
- No problem — if the number of people increases, you can upgrade your booking. Just let me know in advance and I'll adjust everything so your whole group is covered.
- Are the tours private?
- Yes. All experiences are 100% private — just you and your people, no strangers in the group. Everything is tailored to your pace, interests, and group size.
- In what languages are the tours offered?
- English and Spanish.
- How long are the tours?
- Most tours last 2–3 hours, but custom itineraries can be extended. Ask for a custom plan →
- Are the tours suitable for children or seniors?
- Yes. Routes can be adapted for families, seniors, or guests with mobility needs.
- Do you offer food tours?
- Yes — the Tapas & Local Food Tour includes neighborhood bars, traditional dishes, and local recommendations. See the tapas tour →
- Is transportation included?
- Walking tours do not include transportation. For day trips (e.g., Itálica), transportation can be arranged upon request.
- Do you run tours in the rain?
- Yes — Seville is beautiful in every season. If weather becomes extreme, we adapt the route or reschedule.
- How far in advance should I book?
- Two to three weeks is comfortable. In April (Feria & Semana Santa) and over Christmas, the earlier the better. Last-minute requests are always worth asking — sometimes I can.
- What's the group size?
- All tours are private — usually one to six guests. Larger families and small groups (up to ten) are no problem with notice.
- Do you offer tours in Spanish?
- Yes — tours run in fluent English or Spanish. Let me know your preference when you book.
- What about accessibility?
- Many parts of old Seville are cobblestone and step-heavy, but most tours can be adapted. Tell me about any mobility needs and I'll design accordingly.
